Checking back in after a long break. Lots of good stuff going on. I just finished Enrique's world tour with his last date at Madison Square Garden August 28.

The new Steve Morse Band CD "Out Standing in Their Field" is being released by Edel and is available in Germany on September 25th, in the UK October 5th, in France on October 12th, and in the USA on October 15th with new tour dates in October. See tour dates.

Also keep an eye out for Nena's new CD "Made in Germany" which is in my opinion an amazing CD. Headed over to Hamburg this weekend for a show and to shoot the new video It looks like a busy 2010 for her.

The new Steve Morse Band CD is done and I'm very excited about touring behind it. The band arranged the music together at Steve's studio, then I tracked all of the drums at my studio (Live Wire) in NYC.

Prior to my joining the SMB in '89 I was in a band called Stretch with Dave LaRue and Glenn Alexander. They are re-releasing their LP on CD and have added a new bonus track that I also tracked at Live Wire. More updates on that release date to come.

I recorded drums on Vinnie Moore's "To The Core" CD which is done and will be released in the very near future.

Enrique has had a very busy '08 and '09 is starting with a Super bowl concert in Tampa , a Pro Bowl half time show in Hawaii on Feb 8th and will be followed by touring starting in March in South America and Europe. Dates to be listed soon. Have a great '09- Van.

Keren DeBerg's CD is finished http://www.myspace.com/kerendeberg which is already getting a lot of action on MTV's "The Hills".

Enrique's Insomniac CD has had one hit after the next in Europe and the Spanish markets so we've been busy with touring and TV promo.

Prior to this I spent four days on Steve Morse's farm with Steve and Dave LaRue working up some new songs which I'll start tracking drums for at Live Wire Studios in NYC.

Other highlights: Tracking drums for Enrique's new Spanish CD,  The Today Show, Billboard Awards, The Tonight Show, The Imperial Festival in Costa Rica (with Seal, Smashing Pumpkins, Duran Duran).

Upcoming highlights: Isle of MTV in Malta June 25 with One Republic, N.E.R.D., Nena's August Tour of Germany. Upcoming Steve Morse band release and tour dates

There was a lot of action the last few months of '07-work with Julian Velard, Pierce Turner, Vinnie Moore, producing Keren DeBerg's new CD, a 10 week tour with Enrique Iglesias. '08 has started with recording and writing for Nena's new CD in Stuttgart, Germany, recording a new Steve Morse Band CD in Ocala, FL and NYC, a continuation of Enrique's world tour in Central America in addition to dates in the US(Madison Sq Garden Feb 9, Jay Leno Feb 8, Regis and Kelly Feb 11).

Also, my studio in Manhattan's lower east side is up and running for my productions and recordings. Our boutique style of production and recording is based out of this comfortable relaxed writing environment which also boasts world class multi tracking quality.
